New divorce laws will come into force from 6th April

A new on line service will apply . This will remove the ability to make allegations about the conduct of a spouse. Couples can make joint applications,. It will no longer possible to contest a divorce, except on limited grounds . New – Conditional Order followed by Final Order after 20 weeks . which will give couples time to mediate arrangements for their children and the division of the family finances
