Big delay in family courts _ Mediate

From our discussions with local solicitors it taking up to 6  months in family courts to reach a first hearing and then a further delay if a 2nd hearing is needed. The courts encourage parties to mediate , if you engage in the process it WILL save you stress of waiting for an outcome  which may have been agreed in mediation. It’s not only you that suffers the wait , so do your children !
