Suzan who lives in Colchester, organised the event to raise money for 3 charities, Addenbrooke’s charitable trust in Cambridge, the Sick Children’s Trust, and the J’s Hospice. She wanted to say thank you to them for all the help and support they have given her and her son Nathan. She also wanted to thank Nathan himself;
“Nathan has taught me so much, he has taught me about strength and determination – everything I didn’t have before I have to thank him for”.
Nathan was diagnosed with Hydrocephalus, http://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/hydrocephalus/Pages/introduction.aspx a condition causing excess fluid in the brain at just 4 days old, since then other conditions have emerged. Nathan also suffers with Cerebral Palsy and has just one functioning Kidney.
The event was an amzing sucess due to Suzan’s passion and hard work, the guests were treated to a great meal, an auction (with some amazing lots) and a fantastic raffle. The evening was rounded off with some great 80’s tunes provided by Dream 100 DJ Jeremey Durrant, and a special DJ appearance from Nathan himself.
The evening raised a staggering £6078. Well done Suzan we are all very proud of you and what you have achieved and we are glad that Essex Mediation were able to help you achieve it.
