How can we help?

Cohabitation

If you've been living together but are not married, and decide to separate, the law affecting your separation is very different from divorce. The emotional stresses and strains however are just as high. Mediation is a good way to resolve issues concerning the separation of your finances and parenting of your children. It offers you the opportunity to work through all the issues involved and to consider various options before making any final decisions.

We have many years experience in helping couples make these practical decisions. Perhaps at this stage you are not sure if the separation will be temporary or permanent. Although mediation is not a substitute for couple counselling, it does give you an opportunity to communicate constructively in a safe environment and this in itself can be therapeutic and help you to decide the way forward.
